Steve Casey is a seasoned value-added medicines leader and one of the founders of the Value Added Medicines Alliance. He has over 37 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in the commercialization of 505(b)(2) products. With a proven track record of taking products from concept to launch and beyond, Steve delivers commercialization strategy and implementation that efficiently drives ROI and value creation at every stage.
Steves career began commercializing DESI and 505(b)(2) products several decades ago. His experience in financially challenging product situations helped him develop a commercial creativity and partnering understanding required for successful commercialization of 505(b)(2) products. He understands the unique challenges of 505(b)(2) product commercialization and recognizes the need for commercial efficiency to maximize the value-added medicine product potential,
Steve’s focus on efficiency and optimization was galvanized through his entrepreneurial efforts starting and growing several commercial businesses, including founding, building, and exiting a specialty 505(b)(2) pharmaceutical company. As the Principal Consultant of Omni-HC, Steve assists companies in achieving success in their development and commercialization of new products.
Steve holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BS from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
